All of conditioned existence, without exception, is in a constant state of flux.
Given Impermanence (“Anitya” in Sanskrit) nothing possesses an essential or enduring identity.
The Universe, and everything in it, is therefore essentially empty; no more than an expression of the eternal void, or “Sunyata”.
Acceptance of Impermanence and Emptiness offers our only possibility for Freedom.
